February Haul

Yes! February haul. Haha. I've been procrastinating i know. Anyway, these are the stuff i got during the Feb. month. I've got some other stuff that I didn't include in this photo session such as some other clothes and shoes. Heehee. I'm loving everything in these photos! I apologize as I only used my phone's camera to take these pics. My real camera went dead when I took the first photo.

I seriously LOOOVE this scent. It reminds me of Penshoppe's (a clothing company in the Philippines) Smells Like Baby in Bianca cologne. I was inlove with that cologne back in high school and college. When I came to Canada, I missed the smell of that cologne so i asked my cousin if they could send me some Smells Like Baby cologne but unfortunately, Penshoppe decided to discontinue the Bianca scent. Shame on you, Penshoppe. LOL. So anyway, one time, my ex-co-worker had this scent and i kinda freaked out because it was extremely similar to SLB-B. She showed me her bottle then here i go.. i now have this SLB-B dupe, the heaven-sent Fresh and Clean scent from Pink by VS. Heehee. :)

Due to extreme laziness i haven't been updating this blog as much as i want to. :( I've been trying out and getting stuff lately, then tell myself i'm gonna post some opinion and what-not about the stuff i'm getting. Work has been pretty much occupying my whole week, then all i want for my weekend is to relax. So lately, i've been just visiting other people's blogs :)

To give this blog a little life, I'm going to do a haul post either tomorrow or sometime around this week. Heehee =)

temptu :(

a couple of weeks ago, my friend got the temptu airbrush system from sephora. she tried it on me and it looked really good. altho i felt like it wasn't a full coverage foundation and didn't really hide some of my redness, it still looked good on me. anyway, i wore it for like 6 hours before i washed my face.. then went to bed (tmi i know lol). when i got up in the morning, lo and behold, i have found 5 zits on my face. :( i was at first in denial that it was the temptu's fault because in my mind i was like "how can this expensive foundation make my face break out?" i was thinking maybe it was just the normal mac pro longwear that i've been trying out (i got a sample from mac); as i've read a lot of not good reviews about mac's foundations. i didn't mention this to my friend as she is really ecstatic with temptu. she wasn't even liking the mac pro longwear samples we got. anyway, i continued (i still am) using the mac pro longwear sample and it didn't (still isn't) give me any problems.. like what temptu had given me. apparently, mac pro longwear has been very very good to me! but this is another story. so i was really thinking that it was the temptu's fault why i have a couple of visible blemishes right now. :(

my question is.. have u tried temptu? did it give u the same problem? please share me your experiences with temptu.. it'll be great! heehee

Last Monday, my friend and ultimate shopping buddy forced me to go to her house. Haha. I love going to her house though. I told her I want to go to the mall too because I wanted to buy something. But I wasn't sure if the mall was open because last Monday was a holiday. She said they were. So yeah. I was very eager to go the the mall because the night before, I had a dream. It was about me and her going to the mall and The Bay (a department store inside the mall), buying Mac Blankety lipstick. Haha. So that afternoon, my friend and I went to the mall and The Bay, an hour before they close (they closed early because it was a holiday) and guess what I bought? MAC BLANKETY LIPSTICK!!! Crazy eh? LOL.

I also bought 2 shower gels from Bath and Body Works. I got Sweet Pea for myself and bought Moonlight Magic for my mother. They were sooo cheap @ $3.11 (tax included) each. I looove Bath and Body Works deals! Anyway, here are some pics of the stuff I got. =)

Here are my answers to Kim's month of July giveaway..

1. What is make-up for you?

- For me, makeup is something that actually helps boost my confidence. Although, I'm not saying that without makeup, I have no confidence at all, lol. It also allows me to be creative when thinking of a look that i want or should create. I also love how it can make me look and feel mature, as i look like a child without makeup because of my tiny feature, heehee.

2. What is your makeup routine?

- My makeup routine is very simple. After I clean and moisturize my face, I apply: primer, concealer, powder-foundation, eyeliner, curl my lashes, mascara, bronzer, tiny bit of face highlighter, blush, lip balm and lastly lipstick. for some reason, i hardly use lip gloss anymore.

Mini Body Shop and Walmart Haul

Last week, my friend and I went to a mall in Mississauga just for fun. Initially, my mind was just set for a MAC lipstick and a NARS blush. Altho, I wasn't actually sure if i wanted to spend or not because i'm broke. LOL. So anyway, we went to The Body Shop just to "look" around. As we entered the store the sales associate told us that everything in the store was 3 for $30 (except for the clearance stuff). My friend and I got excited so we ended up buying some stuff. Hah! I went to get the White Musk perfume 60ml (reg price: $26 + tax). I've been wanting to get this perfume because it just smells great! Then, I proceed to get the Seaweed skin care line starter kit (reg price: $25 + tax).. then the Brush On Radiance (reg price: $21 + tax). The Brush On Radiance is a nice highlighter, i dunno, i'm just into highlighter these days. LOL. What a great deal eh? If not for the 3 for $30 deal, i could've spent $80! While paying for the stuff, the sales associate gave us free sample of the Sweet Lemon shower gel. :)

After Square One, we went to Walmart here in our place, again just to "look" around. I ended up buying this travel-sized Hawaiian Tropics sunblock lotion and NYC UltraMoist lipstick in Iced Coffee.

Next stuff to buy: Revlon Colourburst L/S in Soft Nude, The Body Shop Oceanus Shower Gel (They're on sale!) and NARS Deep Throat! Heehee.

Mini Joe Fresh Haul

I went to Joe Fresh near my place the other day and bought some stuff. I've been seeing reviews on Youtube, MakeUp Alley and some other blogs about this brand so I wanted to give it a try. I bought their cream lipstick, two eyeshadows and cheek tint. Here they are..

Swatches(L-R): cream lipstick in Ruby, cheek tint in Nude, eyeshadow in Espresso and eyeshadow in Grape

I actually got the cream lipstick in Ruby for only $3; they were $6 originally, LOL. Other items were $4 each. Also, that eyeshadow in Espresso is a very pretty matte dark brown that can be used to fill the eyebrows.

I actually wanted to buy their matte lipstick in nude but they were out of stock. I was eyeing on their cheek tint in bronze as well but the only two left were the tester and a new but opened one. I promise to go back to get their matte lipstick in nude cause i need a nude lipstick that i can use everyday. Plus the bronze cheek tint is just too pretty.

Hello. I've been wanting to change my blog's layout/template for the longest time, it's just that I'm too lazy to do it. Hah! Probably later tonight I'm gonna do it.

Also, I've been wanting to make another sensible entry but then again just lazy to do it.
